Loans are available to anyone who is a current resident of Kingston and surrounding area, in a 50 km radius from Joe's Music Mill (please call ahead if you are unsure if your area qualifies).

You will need to bring the following three items when you come in to register:
​

• Photo ID showing date of birth.

• Document from the last 30 days showing current residential address, such as a utility bill or online shopping receipt. It can be physical or digital.

• A registration recovery of $25 which helps offset increasing operating costs. The library accepts cash, debit, credit, and cheques.

There are, as always, no charges or fees to borrow an instrument.

Borrower’s cards are valid for one year. The borrowing period for most instruments is 4 weeks (28 days) after which the instrument must be returned or renewed for another 4 week period.
